Cookie Policy & Consent Settings

ZuzuCloud · Windsor, Ontario, Canada
Privacy Officer: privacy@zuzucloud.com

Summary & Immediate Control: Zuzu believes in absolute transparency and privacy by default. We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage tokens solely to keep our pre-launch waitlist secure, prevent automated form abuse, and record your consent preferences. Non-essential analytics and marketing trackers are disabled by default and will never be activated unless you explicitly opt in.

1. What are cookies and local storage?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work properly, provide a secure environment, and deliver reporting metrics to site owners.

In addition to HTTP cookies, modern web applications may utilize browser storage mechanisms such as localStorage or sessionStorage. In this policy, the term "cookies" refers collectively to HTTP cookies, local storage items, and related web technologies governed by privacy legislation such as the EU/UK ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, Canadian PIPEDA, and Quebec's Law 25.

2. How Zuzu uses cookies & storage technologies

We organize cookies and local storage items into three clear functional categories:

1. Strictly Necessary & Security (Always Active)

Required

These identifiers are essential for the website to function securely and reliably. They enable fundamental features such as Cloudflare bot mitigation, DDOS protection, waitlist form submission, and remembering your cookie preference state so we do not prompt you on every page reload. Without these items, the website cannot deliver core security or services you request.

2. Analytics & Performance (Optional — Default: Off)

Requires Opt-In

Performance cookies help us understand aggregate traffic metrics, identify page loading bottlenecks, and discover which features medical spa professionals find most relevant. These analytics are de-identified, aggregated, and strictly subject to your prior consent.

3. Marketing & Launch Communications (Optional — Default: Off)

Requires Opt-In

If enabled, these trackers measure the performance of our pre-launch announcements and help us tailor our founding member invitations to relevant aesthetic clinic practices. We never sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their independent commercial use.

3. Detailed Cookie & Storage Inventory

4. Legal compliance & Quebec Law 25

Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25), any technology that identifies, locates, or profiles a user must have tracking deactivated by default. ZuzuCloud adheres strictly to this requirement:

  • No non-essential tracking cookies or profiling mechanisms are activated upon landing.
  • Consent is granular, freely given, specific, informed, and requested separately by category.
  • Users may withdraw or modify their consent at any time without penalty or loss of core site functionality.
